Monday-Friday   9.00-12.00; 14.00-17.00     by appointment only

This Institute remains temporarily closed to the public in accordance with the Government decrees concerning urgent measures to halt the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

Appointments may be made during opening hours by telephone or e-mail.

Casva’s archival holdings are open for consultation by scholars, students and users who have requested authorisation and have obtained an appointment by sending an email to: [email protected]

The request must be accompanied by a brief description of the research project.
Appointments set at the earliest possible convenience, also the same day if possible.

Documents may only be consulted in the presence of a member of staff of the CASVA institute.

Users are invited to make use of gloves when handling the documents, particularly the more fragile documents.
