Vittorio Gregotti

The seat of the University of Calabria in Cosenza 1972-79; ZEN in Palermo in 1969-73; the residential district in Venice Cannaregio 1981-2001; the Bas-Montreuil district, Montreuil (France) 1992-93; the competition for the development of the Spreeinsel in Berlin (Germany) in 1993; the theatre of Aix-en-Provence (France) in 2003; the competition for the new city of Pujiangi in China in 2001-2011; the zoning of various Italian cities (Arezzo, Turin, Sesto San Giovanni, in the provinces of Milan, Livorno, Gorizia, to name but a few); the numerous projects in the 90s that changed the face of the former Bicocca industrial area, now home to a theatre, university, residential and office buildings, are just some of the projects that Vittorio Gregotti participated in with the two companies he founded, the Architetti Associati firm (Ludovico Meneghetti and George Wick) 1963-1969 and Gregotti Associati (currently including Augusto Cagnardi and Michele Reginaldi) from 1969 to the present day.
A total of more than 700 projects that illustrate not only the mastery of his craft and the creativity of the architect, urban planner and designer, but also his ability to reimagine places and buildings, leaving his mark on the world of architecture, since the 1960s.
